Lyrical dance mimics ballet while incorporating balance, flexibility and control, while utilizing the lyrics or mood of the music.
This class incorporates basic dance concepts in an exciting and energetic format. Using imaginative music and fun props, this class encourages coordination and flexibility in a structured setting. Our “Fairytale Ballet” program is included in each of the creative movement classes. Each child receives a CD with music and story narration to take home and practice what they have learned in class. Basic ballet and jazz skills along with music awareness are the focus of this class.
Continuation of fundamental ballet technique and class progression. As students progress they will be placed in the next appropriate level class as determined by the teacher. Ballet is a classical dance form demanding grace and precision; formalized steps and gestures provide expression through movement; ballet may also be performed on pointe and will involve barre work.
Traditional tap dancing for young and old alike, beginner through advanced. Placement in classes is based on a combination of age and experience Older elementary and teen classes also experience more contemporary tap styles such as “Stomp” tap dancing.

A street dance style often seen in movies and videos; funk jazz without the use of structured classical technique; rhythmic movements usually to music, using prearranged or improvised steps and gestures, inspired from the hip-hop culture and lifestyle. Classes will have occasional opportunity for freestyle. Lots of fun. The students love it.
Learn the popular style of Contemporary dance. Dancers currently are taking a large interest in contemporary dance styles. This is a favorite style used in the show "So You Think You Can Dance". Contemporary Dance involves a fusion of ballet, lyrical and/or jazz movement, modern elements, modern technique, movement and choreography.
This class is for those who have had a creative movement class. Placement in a combination class is based on a combination of age and experience. A class for beginning dancers involving a combination of ballet, jazz, tap and acrobatic dance; dancers will learn the basic fundamentals of dance and vocabulary.
Learn the basics of Musical Theatre Dance. Dance styles include Tap, Latin, Hip Hop, Jazz and more! Discover how to portray and act out a character while performing a dance. This class is for the experienced dancer and at the discretion of the teacher.

This class is for those who have had a Combo 1 class. Placement in a combination class is based on a combination of age and experience. A class for beginning/intermediate level dancers involving a combination of ballet, jazz, tap and acrobatic dance; dancers will learn a wider range of dance and vocabulary.
A technical form of dance which has sharp, strong movements such as kicks, leaps, isolations and turns and some complicated footwork; there are many forms of jazz including Broadway/Character, classical, pop, and funk. A very popular style of dance among our students. Upbeat and energetic. Some Hip Hop is also incorporated into the traditional jazz class.
